Tomiko Evans Investment Research Analyst


Tomiko is our resident economist and investment analyst. She is part of our investment team and is responsible for contributing and sub-editing the Estate Capital Investment Outlook Reports. Tomiko contributes to our blog page.

In 2016 she successfully completed her final examinations for a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Financial Forecasting and Investment from Swansea University. She completed her dissertation in the efficient investment in the UK equity market using exchange traded funds.

In 2018 Tomiko successfully completed the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate Parts 1 and 2.

Tomiko is now completing a PhD in Finance at Swansea University’s School of Management under the guidance of Professor Steve Cook and Dr Mike Buckle.

The subject matter of her PhD will focus on research into moving average crossover theory and momentum theory using index tracking funds and their involvement in future discretionary investment strategies that we as a firm wish to develop.

Tomiko has been part of the Estate Capital team since 2014. Prior to her current role she worked in the International Prime Brokerage group for Citigroup as well as for the Finance Desk Technology team with Salomon Smith Barney in London’s Canary Wharf and Salomon Brothers in New York. It is her knowledge and experience of economics and the investment market that helps us deliver a first-class investment service to our private and corporate clients.
